EISREGEN announced that they’ve parted ways with long-time guitarist and bassist Bursche Lenz.
Following his last gig with the band on December 23, 2016 in Erfurt, Germany, Bursche and Eisregen sat down and talked about the future. In the end, they decided to part ways.
The split was as amicable as possible, and there’s no scorched earth left behind.
Eisregen expressed their gratitude for the past 22 years they shared with each other and honored the fact that the band wouldn’t be who and where they are today without the contributions of Bursche.
The band’s complete statement in German is available on the band’s FACEBOOK page.
Eisregen recently announced the upcoming release of the first concept album in the band’s history, entitled “Fleischfilm”, which is an homage to the wild Italian cinema of the 1970’s and 1980’s.
The album release on Massacre Records is scheduled for May 5, 2017.
